Hello Cinema Center Fans,

Happy 2020 and welcome to our first big show of the year! This Friday night and for the next three weeks, we are showing Parasite, winner of Best Foreign Film at the Golden Globes and an Oscar-nominated hopeful. I had the good fortune of seeing its North American premiere this summer, and I have not stopped talking about it since. Please avoid spoilers, trailers, and anyone who has seen the film already, and experience this film for yourself. It is a masterpiece. 

This Friday, Cinema Center will present the film at 7:00 pm with a follow-up audience discussion led by Dr. Assem Nasr, Purdue Fort Wayne Communications professor, and Dr. Steven Carr, Purdue Fort Wayne professor and film and media historian. 

I am a terrible predictor when it comes to sell-out theaters, but based on the buzz that I've heard, I would recommend purchasing tickets online.
